Colorado Governor Okays Sexual Predators in Women's Bathrooms
"What this bill now does do is allow men to go into women's restrooms and locker rooms and vice versa because we are told that we cannot discriminate against someone with a transgender status," he warns.

Stolen Children from FLDS Sect Returned, With Conditions
Labels: Children, Communism, DFCS, Government, Liberalism
Parents need to wake up to this extremely unconstitutional and morally reprehensible threat that they may potentially face from their local state. As evidenced, all it takes is one person that dislikes you and is willing to make a false claim against you.
If you listen to the clip below you will notice the completely unintelligent and unconstitutional condition placed on the parents by the state. Evidentially the condition of release was based on the parents pledging to attend “parenting classes”, whatever those are. This is a blatant overstepping of the biblical jurisdiction of the state, the state has no authority over the family. It’s sphere of jurisdiction is very strictly limited to that of the civil sphere. Thankfully the court has overruled the CPS in this case and told them that they have no authority to take the children. However, this hasn’t been the first example, and won’t be the last as long as we continue to falsely view the state as our “all saving messiah”.

Feminism is Devastating: Says Daughter of Famed Feminist Leader
I encourage you to read her article, it's very insightful to understand the extent to which feminism destroys families and nations. Here are a few excerpts...
"She's revered as a trail-blazing feminist and author Alice Walker touched the lives of a generation of women. A champion of women's rights, she has always argued that motherhood is a form of servitude. But one woman didn't buy in to Alice's beliefs - her daughter, Rebecca, 38.
Here the writer describes what it was like to grow up as the daughter of a cultural icon, and why she feels so blessed to be the sort of woman 64-year-old Alice despises - a mother.
Ironically, my mother regards herself as a hugely maternal woman. Believing that women are suppressed, she has campaigned for their rights around the world and set up organisations to aid women abandoned in Africa - offering herself up as a mother figure.
But, while she has taken care of daughters all over the world and is hugely revered for her public work and service, my childhood tells a very different story. I came very low down in her priorities - after work, political integrity, self-fulfilment, friendships, spiritual life, fame and travel.
My mother would always do what she wanted - for example taking off to Greece for two months in the summer, leaving me with relatives when I was a teenager. Is that independent, or just plain selfish?
I was 16 when I found a now-famous poem she wrote comparing me to various calamities that struck and impeded the lives of other women writers. Virginia Woolf was mentally ill and the Brontes died prematurely. My mother had me - a ‘delightful distraction’, but a calamity nevertheless. I found that a huge shock and very upsetting.
According to the strident feminist ideology of the Seventies, women were sisters first, and my mother chose to see me as a sister rather than a daughter. From the age of 13, I spent days at a time alone while my mother retreated to her writing studio - some 100 miles away. I was left with money to buy my own meals and lived on a diet of fast food. "
A feminist's view on parenthood, abortion, etc...
"...I always told my mother that everything was fine, that I had won the fight. I didn't want to worry her.
But the truth was I was very lonely and, with my mother's knowledge, started having sex at 13. I guess it was a relief for my mother as it meant I was less demanding. And she felt that being sexually active was empowering for me because it meant I was in control of my body.
Now I simply cannot understand how she could have been so permissive. I barely want my son to leave the house on a play-date, let alone start sleeping around while barely out of junior school.
A good mother is attentive, sets boundaries and makes the world safe for her child. But my mother did none of those things.
Although I was on the Pill - something I had arranged at 13, visiting the doctor with my best friend - I fell pregnant at 14. I organised an abortion myself. Now I shudder at the memory. I was only a little girl. I don't remember my mother being shocked or upset. She tried to be supportive, accompanying me with her boyfriend.
Although I believe that an abortion was the right decision for me then, the aftermath haunted me for decades. It ate away at my self-confidence and, until I had Tenzin, I was terrified that I'd never be able to have a baby because of what I had done to the child I had destroyed. For feminists to say that abortion carries no consequences is simply wrong. "
And the conclusion of her article:
"It’s been almost four years since I have had any contact with my mother, but it’s for the best - not only for my self-protection but for my son’s well-being. I’ve done all I can to be a loyal, loving daughter, but I can no longer have this poisonous relationship destroy my life.
I know many women are shocked by my views. They expect the daughter of Alice Walker to deliver a very different message. Yes, feminism has undoubtedly given women opportunities. It’s helped open the doors for us at schools, universities and in the workplace. But what about the problems it’s caused for my contemporaries?…
…Feminism has betrayed an entire generation of women into childlessness. It is devastating.
But far from taking responsibility for any of this, the leaders of the women’s movement close ranks against anyone who dares to question them - as I have learned to my cost. I don’t want to hurt my mother, but I cannot stay silent. I believe feminism is an experiment, and all experiments need to be assessed on their results. Then, when you see huge mistakes have been paid, you need to make alterations.
I hope that my mother and I will be reconciled one day. Tenzin deserves to have a grandmother. But I am just so relieved that my viewpoint is no longer so utterly coloured by my mother’s.
I am my own woman and I have discovered what really matters - a happy family. "

Court Blasts State Social Services Strip-Search of Children
Labels: Children, DFCS, Government, Public Schools, Socialism
"Two children who attended a private Christian school in Wisconsin were illegally strip-searched and had their constitutional rights violated by a state social worker, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously ruled Monday.
In Michael C. v. Gresbach, the court said state worker Dana Gresbach violated the children's Fourth Amendment rights to freedom from unreasonable search when she entered Good Hope Christian Academy in Milwaukee, Wis., had the children pulled from the classrooms and told them to remove their clothing when she suspected the parents of spanking in February 2004.
Stephen Crampton, vice president of legal affairs and general counsel for Liberty Counsel, represented the parents of 8-year-old Ian and 9-year-old Alexis when they sued the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare and the caseworker.
"We are obviously pleased with the result, but candidly, we wish they had been more harsh on this renegade department that has ruined the lives of so many well-intentioned families already," he told WND.
Crampton said this type of overstep is common among social workers, and they often do not give it a second thought.
"The social worker performed these strip searches as a matter of routine, estimating that in perhaps one-half of the 300 or so cases she handled every year she subjected kids to a partial disrobing," he said. "In fact, she testified that she considered it so routine that she did not bother to discuss her intentions with her supervisor, even though she spoke to her on her way to the school."
The state had several social workers file affidavits saying they would have followed the same procedure. Crampton said, "That is an alarming admission, and we suspect you would find a similar pattern in social service offices all over America."
When Gresbach entered the school, she handed her business card to Principal Cheryl Reetz and told her she needed to see Ian and Alexis. Reetz asked the social worker if she could call the children's parents, but Gresbach refused to allow it, saying she would contact them at a later time. The principal then asked if she could remain in the room to observe the interview, but she was denied permission to do so.
According to court documents, state officials claimed they made efforts to speak with the parents and stepparents of the children, but the visits never occurred.
Crampton said the mindset of most social workers is that parents are the problem.
"They go to great lengths to lock parents out of the process, treating them as the enemy, and ultimately doing more harm than good by driving something of a wedge between the children and their parents," he said.
The social worker spent nearly 15 minutes alone in the room with each child. She searched Ian's wrists for bruising and asked him to pull up his shirt. He complied, and she examined his back for suspicious marks. Gresbach then privately inspected Alexis, asking her to pull down her tights and lift up her dress. The worker was unable to find any sign of injury on the children's bodies."

Maxine Waters Wants to Nationalize the Oil Industry
Labels: Democrats, Liberalism, Socialism, Unbelievable, Video
How can other Democrats sit by while someone in their party makes these kinds of statements??? It's beyond believable! Maxine Waters should switch parties to either the American Socialist Party, or the Communist Party of America.
But to be fair I guess there are enough like-minded people in the Democrat party that it really doesn't matter.

Georgia State GOP Convention Highlights

However, during the convention I was in the back talking with a party official who said he was on the lookout for Ron Paul supporters. When I asked him why, he said that “the party had heard that they were going to do something” – but they didn’t know what that “something” was. So I hung around and talked with him for a while, waiting on the action to begin. :) It turns out that the Ron Paulers wouldn’t be the first to cause a ruckus.
During the presentation and voting on the convention resolutions, convention chairman (Randy Evans) who was obviously trying to thwart any Ron Paul supporter influence, was RAMMING all resolutions through (i.e. not allowing “nay” votes to count at all). Then they got to one resolution, which I do not even remember the whole crux of, but it had a lot of references to liberal issues, liberal solutions, and praise for McCain. The part that I remember was talking about the Global Warming Hoax, and how John McCain needed to “address the problem”. Well someone got up and objected to the resolution and gave a fairly eloquent reason as to why the resolution was bad and why the Republican party shouldn’t adopt it. When he finished there were quite a few cheers and applause. Then the chairman took the vote and from my standpoint probably 1/3 voted for (I), while 2/3rds voted against (nay).
What happened next was an absolute travesty – Randy Evens totally ignored the 2/3rds of the delegates and stated “in the opinion of the chair the I’s have it, the resolution passes.” Well at that point things broke loose and people started getting really upset, including myself. I was already taken aback at the heavy-handed approach that the chair was taking on the resolution voting – but this just set everyone off! Not only the Ron Paul supporters, but all of the true conservatives at the convention who voted against the resolution. For the chair to single-handedly overthrow the will of the convention delegates with his OWN personal will and opinion made the rest of the convention a total and complete farce. At that point what had been apparent to me before, was now apparent to everyone in the room. The party, at the top, is being run by insider hacks who have no regard for the base of the party and for true conservatism.
The gentleman that I was standing with, who was also a party “insider” and was on the nominating committee that did not place any Ron Paul supporters on the slate to the national convention, was outraged. He started whooping and hollering with the rest of us and said that what just happen was a HUGE mistake. And according to him, this sham “vote will be what everyone remembers from the convention and talks about when they get home.”
This resolution debacle put a sour taste in the mouths of not only Ron Paul supporters, but also traditional party activists. In my opinion this will take a while to leave people’s hearts and minds, if at all. I know for party members who were already on the fence with the party, because of its slide into liberalism and anti-conservatism, this just may have broken the camel’s back.
So all that to say, I was more than a little disappointed with the leadership of the Georgia GOP. They obviously and very blatantly showed their partisan support for a man who did not even win the Georgia primary, John McCain. They selected a slate that was anything but uniting for the party base. And they allowed a voting travesty to occur that disenfranchised a huge section of the party base, the likes of which I would have only thought possible at a Democrat convention. However I’m not sure that the leadership even understands how seriously this offense was, or that it will be engrained in the minds of everyone who was there for a very long time.
It’s time for the state party to wake up and realize that they are slowly losing support for the party. If they want to build the party they must return to true conservative principles, going liberal will only weaken the party.
Here are a few of the news “highlights” from yesterday’s convention.

McCain gets slate as Paul's fans fume
Georgia GOP nominates partisan national delegate slate.
"Everyone on our slate is going to be supportive of Senator McCain, no matter who they may have supported in the primary," said Eric Tanenblatt, chairman of the party's convention nominating committee. "We're going to leave Columbus a united party."
Tanenblatt's committee will present a delegate list to the convention floor for approval. There was concern earlier in the week among some Republicans that a floor fight could be started by supporters of other presidential candidates; the McCain camp and party leaders appear to have headed that off.
"All our delegates and alternates are going to be John McCain supporters when they head to Minnesota," Tanenblatt said. "We're going to put together a slate that is a unity slate."

Powerful Paul Washer Lecture - Are You a Christian?
It's kind of long for a web video, but I highly encourage you to watch the entire message - especially if you doubt or are unsure of your eternal salvation.
UPDATE: My wife found the full length version of the sermon and I have now linked to it instead of the shortened version. In addition I have included a second video that has a portion of Paul Washer's testimony, which is very good as well.

Hillary Says Oil Companies Should Pay $8 Billion
As an aside, just who do you think the oil and gas companies are Mrs Clinton? They are the people suffering from high fuel prices!!! Does she not realize that the folks that work for "big oil" in this country are also citizens of the US? Thus they have to pay the high gas prices just like everyone else. So in reality what she is proposing is to take away salaries and pay from oil and gas company employee's to pay for our Government's over indulgence.

Just another normal state Department of Child and Family Services doing their duty, right? WRONG!
We have had several highly publicized DFACS cases in Georgia over the past few years where DFACS unlawfully removed children from their parents homes. I agree with James McDonald, this is a very scary precedent. And don't think that you are immune from their attacks... at some point they will come for all of our children if we continue to allow them to practice their unlawful tactics without an outcry and public indignation.
I have not kept up with this case very closely over the past few weeks and just tonight started reading some stuff on the case. However here are a few good articles on the subject - and I encourage you to read them all:
