You have to wonder about the intelligence level of some of the people in the mainstream media, namely Joe Klein, Chris Matthews, and John Heilemann. How absurd can you get!? ESPECIALLY considering all of their pasts concerning Bush bashing and "regime" name calling. Incredible!

They have been trying to hype global warming for years now and attempting to promote mass-hysteria in order to promote their socialistic agendas. And then yesterday they had to postpone a "Global Warming Impacts, Including Public Health, in the United States" committee hearing in the Senate "due to inclement weather". LOL! Got to love that!

I have to wonder, do they not feel ANY shame or embarrassment over their obvious ignorance on the matter? And how the whole world now see's that it's a fraud and hoax? The latest blizzard in the northeast has got to be pretty embarrassing for them! :)

Here's a great clip with John Allison (former BB&T CEO) and John Stossel discussing our public education system. We had a good discussion about this at our Jackson County GOP party meeting this morning... and our main speaker (and a lot of others) agreed with the young man who Stossel mentioned "it's government's job to come in and give people that good education".  Unfortunately they refuse to acknowledge the facts about public schools - #1 they are failing and #2 they are socialistic in nature and therefore, if for no other reason, should be eliminated in their current form.

People need to be honest and acknowledge that public schools are no different than the "public option" for healthcare that Obama and the Democrats pushed. The philosophy behind these two programs are the same - socialism ("from each according to their ability, to each according to their need"). So while Republicans everywhere are "outraged" over Obama's healthcare plans, they are at the same time fighting each other to see who can throw more of our money at socialized education and think nothing of it. Kind of sickening really.

First to start it off the head of C-SPAN wrote letters to President Obama and the leaders in Congress requesting that they open up the conference meetings concerning the Nationalized Healthcare bill.

"President Obama, Senate and House leaders, many of your rank-and-file members, and the nation's editorial pages have all talked about the value of transparent discussions on reforming the nation's health care system," he wrote. "Now that the process moves to the critical stage of reconciliation between the chambers, we respectfully request that you allow the public full access, through television, to legislation that will affect the lives of every single American."

Now lets watch Obama say eight (yes that's 8) times during the campaign that all healthcare negations and discussions would be open and transparent AND on C-SPAN!



And finally lets watch Nancy Pelosi take a swipe at Obama's campaign promises - and calls this the "there never has been a more open process for any legislation in anyone who serves here's experience." Right!

Pelosi emerged from a meeting with her leadership team and committee chairs in the Capitol to face an aggressive throng of reporters who immediately hit her with C-SPAN’s request that she permit closed-door final talks on the bill to be televised.

A reporter reminded the San Francisco Democrat that in 2008, then-candidate Obama opined that all such negotiations be open to C-SPAN cameras.

“There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail,” quipped Pelosi, who has no intention of making the deliberations public.

Amid the unveiling of the ClimateGate emails from last week, which all but proved that Global Warming is a hoax, Arnold Schwarzenegger comes out with a map of San Francisco flooded in the future and a video of all the horrible things that "climate change" is going to do by the end of the century. Has he lost it??

A map of how California will be affected by climate change in the future was unveiled yesterday by state governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The map, which demonstrates the devastating effects of global warming in just a century, shows how San Francisco Airport would be completely underwater if sea levels were to rise by 150cm (60in).

And this is all happening while the national weather service is predicting to have the 'earliest snowfall ever' in Houston on Friday!

So I guess "Cali-forn-nia" is going through global warming while Texas is going through global cooling, right? Oh wait, then it wouldn't be 'global' would it?

The National Weather Service says much of the area could get from a trace to an inch of snow.

But Houston only sees snow, on average, about every four years. And never this early in the season: Friday's, if it comes, would be the earliest snowfall ever in Houston, beating the record tied last year by six days.
